Jaro is a multidisciplinary artist, graphic designer and a sticker vandal based in Madrid. In his work, we can find from graphics to fashion collections, including stickers in dowtown and suburbia zones or from large to medium format canvas (all in the same authoral way, or in the same conceptual universe), Jaro uses so many different languages, extracted from differents level references or selfreferences. His work join numerological concepts, thoughts about masculinity as a natural, violent, criminal or dangerous force (as Cocteau or Gide did), explicit invitations to sex or porn exhibitionism, spacial ideas close to 50s to 90s avant-garde currents (with Lucio Fontana or Danielle Buetti among his predecessors) or even several biographical details, facts from his daily life or introspective looks. Everything sift for a pure, linear or even tipographycal vision of the arts, nearly linked to graphic or corporative design. Jaro is also the The Black Pillar´s logo author.
